The site at www.wmictcluster.org has been developed by Advantage West Midlands as a hub for its ICT Cluster initiative, which helps West Midlands technology companies to succeed in business and ultimately to grow the regional economy.

Resources on the site include an area to gain relevant business support rapidly from key organisations in the West Midlands, and a section about projects run by the ICT Cluster including the Photonics Cluster, iCentrum, Accredit UK and West Midlands Mobile & Wireless. It also carries details of the 100 + events the ICT Cluster runs every year, including a significant number that are free or subsidised. These events include the Annual West Midlands ICT Conference and ICT Excellence Awards on 22 November, which are designed to provide access to technology partners, thought leaders and business innovators. Workshops will be held in partnership with BT, Microsoft, McAfee and CSC. Mike Musson, Manager of the ICT Cluster said: “The ICT Cluster is integral to business growth in this area.
