What does the Award comprise? The Technology Strategy Board will work with the Company to tailor a package of business advice and support to enhance the Companys ability to meet its high-growth potential. The oneoff package of advice and support could include market analysis, intellectual property protection, business planning, knowledge transfer, European funding schemes, public relations and international trade and will depend on the Companys specific needs. This advice and support will be offered directly by the Technology Strategy Board or its partners. The in-kind value of the awarded advice and support will not exceed 10,000. No cash equivalent will be awarded to the winner. What is the Process? Post-Conference the winning Company will be responsible for arranging a planning meeting with the Technology Strategy Board staff to discuss specific requirements. The meeting will be held either at the Technology Strategy Board offices in Swindon or at an alternative location in London. The company will be responsible for meeting all costs it incurs in attending this meeting. The Company and the Technology Strategy Board will discuss and agree a short plan describing the advice and services required and a tentative timeline. The final decision on the content of the plan will rest with the Technology Strategy Board. With the facilitation of the Technology Strategy Board, the Company will be responsible for sourcing, scheduling and receiving the advice and support from the Technology Strategy Boards partners. The Company will update the Technology Strategy Board on progress indicatively once a month or as otherwise agreed. At the end of the process, indicatively not later than 6 months from the date of the Award, the Company and the Technology Strategy Board will meet to discuss the outcome of the process and lessons learned and any aspects of the process that can be published as a case study (IP conditions allowing). Notes The Technology Strategy Board shall not be liable in any circumstance for consequences deriving from the acceptance, delivery or outcome of the advice and services given.
