Accredit UK Standard awarded to FCL Computing & Software Solutions Ltd 2009-05-21T10:52:00Z 2009-05-21T10:52:00Z /ict-hub/latest-news/accredit-uk-standard-awarded-to-fcl-computing-a-software-solutions-ltd
Accredit UK Standard awarded to FCL Computing & Software Solutions Ltd.

Aston Science Park tenant FCL Computing & Software Solutions Limited, an established IT consultancy business has been awarded the prestigious Accredit UK Standard, which recognises the best technology suppliers in the country.

FCL Computing & Software Solutions Ltd has a team of nine experienced consultants and engineers and can also call upon a pool of up to 55 consultants for any substantial project. The company is planning to use the Accredit UK standard to help grow their business. By completing the Accredit UK standard, they have been recognised as providing an efficient, honest and reliable service.

The Accredit UK standard is an independent quality mark that promotes trust in IT and helps suppliers prove their excellence. It proves to potential IT purchasers that companies holding the mark operate with appropriately skilled people, clearly defined processes, and that the company has a track record of meeting customers' expectations.

FCL Computing & Software Solutions Ltd provides its clients with advice and help on growing their business through products from Microsoft and Sage. They also offer corporate clients and SMEs a range of services including installation, configuration, training and on-going support for IT systems. Most recently, FCL Computing has assisted an engineering company in setting up a financial and CAD/CAM system and has also carried out a full disaster recovery for a company that had a major fire. FCL has also won several web design and e-commerce projects.

Frank Thunder, Director at FCL Computing & Software Solutions Ltd explains why the company decided to take part in the Accredit UK certification: “We took part in the certification to increase quality procedures within our company. We believe that the certification will help us to win additional business as clients will now have evidence that our processes have been assessed independently and are of the highest standards.”

The Accredit UK Assessor said: “A network of associates with key skills means that FCL Computing is able to deliver cost-effective and superbly crafted systems and services to its customers. Communication is key to customer satisfaction and it's the behind-the-scenes communication between the project team that keeps all FCL's practitioners well appraised of progress and in a state of readiness to make their contribution.”

Vaughan Shayler, Programme Director for Accredit UK said: “By using the Accredit UK standard, FCL Computing is helping to make it easier for purchasers to feel confident to buy services from technology companies.

94% of people that we surveyed think that the Accredit UK standard is a good idea. That is because it solves their burning need they can now get what they want without fear.”

Notes for Editors
For further press information please contact Matthew Hidderley at Aston Science Park on 0121 260 6168 or email [email protected]
