Founded in 2000 by Nigel Shanahan, Rapide Communication has grown to become a 30 strong software company providing its clients with innovative ways to use mobile phones to communicate with large groups of people in a quick, simple and measurable way.

Rapide’s services help their clients to sell more, inform their customers and staff quicker and engage many people simultaneously.  With over 400 clients including over a third of the FTSE 500, Rapide’s services are used across multiple functions including marketing, operations and finance right through to customer services and internal communications.
 
Rapide has recently launched the award winning Rant & Rave service which offers real-time feedback to help organisations engage with their customers and staff.  Rant & Rave works by gathering people’s thoughts as soon as they experience a product or service. It then collects and analyses the feedback for its client to use to improve or change their services.
 
Rapide’s success has been achieved by a hard working and motivated team that prides itself on continuing to develop new and exciting products and services and then taking them to market successfully using a dedicated sales and marketing team.  

The company is based at the University of Warwick Science Park and believes that the West Midlands is a diverse and cutting-edge region which makes it a great place for a business to develop. The Rapide team is also located within easy reach of the region’s higher education institutions and has recently developed links with Birmingham and Warwick Universities. Through these links the company plans to develop itsmarket-leading technologies further and also have access to talented graduates.
